A new Constitution
Look, I really don’t like vacuums.
It’s the Fourth of July here in the U.S. of A, and I’m getting political. I’ve got a new Constitution for you, one filled with encouragements and personal tenets, plus a case for creative biodiversity, because nothing thrives in a vacuum.
Plus, I’ve got July’s ABC picks ready to go! Our reading theme is Bonfires & Bricklayers, and this month I’ve got three picks for you; read as many or as few as you want, whenever you want, because it’s an Asynchronous Book Club after all. (And, as always, check content warnings; we want reading to be a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.)
The Flamethrowers by Rachel Kushner
Nightcrawling by Leila Mottley
How High We Go in the Dark by Sequoia Nagamatsu
Here’s the full transcript if you wanna read along. <3
