Endings & not-endings

On finales, Roman stonemasonry, and what’s in store for Season Two.

Here we are, 21 episodes later, looking toward next season of the Little Oracles podcast, and dang — I’m pretty pleased.

I’ve learned so much about the variance in creative practice from colleagues and friends through marvelous Creative Chats with Lindsay Stewart, Kristen O’Neal and Kaitlin Bruder of the Thin Places Radio podcast, John Harper, and Peter Gaucys.

I’ve learned about my own creative work — not to mention some really cool facts about words and history and philosophy and poetry and, and, and — in developing Everyday Creative audio-essays.

And, while I haven’t read nearly as many books this year as last (I mean — last year was intense lol), I’ve read more deeply, I think, and given myself the chance to process and consider and absorb with a whole passel of Little Reviews, short-form book reviews that loosely tie together whatever I’ve got on my nightstand or in my headphones (and there are so many more micro-essays in the making; be ye not afraid!).
